dcb support in Cumulus Linux; What HW is supported for DCB?

Does Cumulus Linux support DCB (date center bridging) and all subsequent protocols like PFC, SET, etc?

This is currently not in the pipeline. It is possible as it is a software controlled resource but we currently only support LLDP. If you could give me a better understanding on what you are trying to accomplish maybe I can point you in the direction of a person or documentation that could help.

Hi Scott,

I am using Quanta white box with Cumulus Linus as backend network for scale-out NAS storage system. Latest version of SDS SW added support for rNIC and RoCE (RDMA over converged Ethernet) for backend and client connectivity. I am investigating and preparing evaluation of possible performance improvement when using rNIC. The current storage performance is limited by latency of TCP/IP stack, so implementation of better stack would have impact on performance. NICs with RoCE needs switches with support for DCB/PFC.
