Cumulus VX VXLAN routing

Does Cumulus VX support VXLAN routing? Should I use some sort of loop or external router?

Hi Anton,

This is supported on specific switches. Please consult the following documentation:

Hi, Jason!
Of course I read this document, but it does not mention Cumulus VX.

Hi Anton, if you want to try a demo of it in action, go to our GitHub site and clone the https://github.com/CumulusNetworks/cldemo-netq repo. It has an EVPN branch with the configs and an Ansible playbook to deploy it on the reference topology (https://github.com/cumulusnetworks/cldemo-vagrant) Cumulus Networks consulting engineers developed.

I deploy my own demo workbench, because vagrant does not work on my laptop. I prepare and test files for real installations on this workbench. And when I tried to test assymetric vxlan routing I recieve nothing. In one vxlan all hosts see each other, but routing between vxlan does not works.
My target hardware switches is Mellanox with Spectrum ASICs which support assymetric vxlan routing.
Can I test configuration for Mellanox switches in virtual environment?

Hi Anton, the configs are kind of buried in a branch. You can get them here: https://github.com/CumulusNetworks/cldemo-netq/tree/evpn/configurations
