Question on Configuring the Network Interfaces and Quagga

Hi
I am very new for Cumulus NW. I have one quick question! I have seen bellow configuration created by Tom Wells , for Configuring the Network Interfaces and Quagga.

auto swp1
iface swp1
address 10.2.1.1/32

auto swp2
iface swp2
address 10.2.1.1/32

Why the same IP address for both interface. ?

If someone provide me a pictorial view for the 2 leaf/2 spine topology. If will help me a lots.

Please share your input at my personal email ID if any attachment required.

Hi Mrityunjay,

Looks like that snippet is from a configuration we refer to as "Unnumbered Interfaces"

The concept enables the use of the same ip address on all the routed interfaces to conserve IP addressing and make configuration easier.

Works with both the routing protocols we support:
OSPF
BGP

OSPF Configuration Sample

Hope this helps

Thanks
Gerard
